Session Title: Think Like An InventorThe world's lowest cost smart thermometer. One of the world's most popular digital-to-physical toy lines. Foundational video Web platforms. Miniature robots. If you walked by 603 Greenwich St., you'd never know that this nondescript brick building housed some of the most insane, groundbreaking and powerful inventions in New York City. At our session, we'll talk about how bMuse has created the conditions for multiple companies and industry-changing technologies to thrive. We'll give attendees a chance to interact with our favorite inventions and will also be showcasing two bMuse startups:
TouchCast and
Paragraph.
TouchCast is an interactive video platform for the web and iPad that is used by the BBC, WSJ, and tens of thousands of teachers and students. If you want to see the future of video and the web, come to this session. Attendees will also be able to record their own TouchCasts in our studio. Tell us which startups impressed you most at NewCo NYC, or what you've learned so far.
Paragraph will be showing a new platform that makes it easy to turn PDFs into HTML documents, and bring your brochures, manuals and presentations to any device. Paragraph’s mission is to help people discover, tell and experience great stories. We do this by offering innovative products and services that help authors, publishers and other organizations bring their stories to the public and by offering the public exciting new ways to discover and experience stories.
